9. The Ivy Hotel
Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Average Price per night: $822.95
Maryland isn't exactly what comes to mind when one thinks of luxury. And yet the Ivy Hotel challenges that misconception. Channeling New England charm, the hotel offers only 17 rooms, so you'll feel more like you're staying at a friend's cozy (and expensive) home.
To cater to its rich clientele, the Ivy Hotel has an intimate luxury spa, a private garden and an impressive library.

8. The Langham, Chicago
Location: Chicago, Illinois
Average Price per night: $906.88
First-class views over the Chicago River, a personal chef experience and a curated collection of artistic work await guests of the Langham in Chicago.
The hotel is housed in a historic building that was designed by famed architect Mies van der Rohe, and it originally held office spaces. If you can afford this hotel, make sure to splurge for a room with a river view — the scenery is simply unmatched.

7. The Peninsula Chicago
Location: Chicago, Illinois
Average Price per night: $907.97
The Peninsula markets itself as the place "where far eastern graciousness meets with Midwestern hospitality." You'll be treated like royalty ... probably because the wealthy are the royals of the 21st century.
Everything about this place exudes luxury, from the concierge service that will get you anything (and we mean anything) you could possibly want to the signature afternoon tea experience.

6. The Canyon Suites at The Phoenician
Location: Scottsdale, Arizona
Average Price per night: $911.24
People don't usually think of Scottsdale, Arizona, as a luxury travel destination. Of course, this is what makes places like the Phoenician even more appealing to those who want to escape.
Nestled nearby Camelback Mountain, the AAA Five Diamond property is an oasis of luxury in the desert. But those who want even more privacy can book the Canyon Suites. The experience affords guests access to exclusive spaces like a pool that boasts waterfalls.
Of course, the appeal is also feeling like you're rich even amongst the rich.

5. Equinox Hotel New York
Location: New York, New York
Average Price per night: $988.63
Equinox's self-description reads like bait for tech bros who are into buzzwords. The hotel claims that it's "a place where compromise simply doesn't happen" and describes its clientele as people "who rest and play as hard as they work."
But if you get past their misguided PR attempt, there's simply no denying that this Hudson Yards property is gorgeous. You'll be in one of the most exciting (and expensive) places in New York without having to deal with the crowds of Time Square. Just ignore the fact that they call their design intuitive (what does that even mean?), and enjoy its aesthetic appeal.

4. Pendry Manhattan West
Location: New York, New York
Average Price per night: $1,048.58
As with Equinox, you'll have to ignore the way the Pendry Manhattan West tries to sell itself as a place "where elegance and ease comingle." (Yes, we laughed when we read that, too.) Get past its awkward self-description to enjoy one of the city's most organic designs.
The exterior of the property imitates a low wave, while the interiors are marked by wooden triangles, circles and other geometric patterns. The upper half seems to love this contrast with a city notorious for its grey blocks of skyscrapers. So much so, that they don't mind paying over a thousand dollars a night to enjoy the hotel.

3. The Towers at Lotte New York Palace
Location: New York, New York
Average Price per night: $1,309.09
Lotte New York Palace is where you stay if $1,300 is petty change to you. And if you want to feel truly apart, you book the Towers.
This hotel within a hotel offer amenities we didn't even know existed. Apparently, there's a level of wealth in which you don't even have to spend your precious energy packing and unpacking. There are designated people who do it for you — no wonder the rich age better!
You'll also have a Clefs d’Or concierge. That's the most prestigious luxury concierge organization in the world.

2. Skylofts at MGM Grand
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada
Average Price per night: $1,457.33
MGM Grand is one of the most iconic attractions on the Las Vegas Strip. If you're someone who's financially comfortable, you can probably save enough for a wild weekend at this five-star hotel.
But if you were in the next installment of the Ocean's movies, you'd probably go for the Skylofts. Guests have a personal buttler, a pre-arrival concierge service and floor-to-ceiling windows with views over Sin City. Rooms include an infinity bath, yes bath, because infinity pools are for peasants.
Book it: Skylofts at MGM Grand
1. Disney World Four Seasons Resort
Location: Orlando, Florida
Average Price per night: $1,733.1
Of course, Disney World would have the most expensive hotel in U.S. After all, people would pay almost anything to feel the magic of the mouse. Without a doubt, the Four Seasons is the best Disney World Resort, so if you have money to spare it's worth the steep price.
Besides park amenities like Magic Hours and FastPass, you'll have access to five-star restaurants, 5 acres of land to explore and complimentary programs meant to keep kids entertained.
