LGBTQ Icon JoJo Siwa's Huge Net Worth Keeps Growing
JoJo Siwa's net worth is a whopping $20 million, and she's only 20. The singer, dancer and YouTuber has been working hard since she was very young and has remained an inspiration throughout her career, not only for children, but the LGBTQ community.
Known for her big bows, colorful clothes and outgoing personality, Siwa is a charismatic talent with a bright future ahead of her.
JoJo Got an Early Start in Show Business
Born on May 19, 2003, in Omaha, Nebraska, JoJo Siwa was destined for the limelight at an early age, thanks to her mother, Jessalynn, who is a professional dance instructor.
In 2013, JoJo became the youngest contestant on Season 2 of "Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition," where she competed for the $100,000 prize.
JoJo finished in fifth place, but the experience jump-started her career. Of all the contestants, she stood out for her big personality and fierce performances, even though she had not yet finessed her true talents.
'Dance Moms' and YouTube Success
JoJo Siwa's dance card wasn't full yet — she followed her stint on "Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition," with two seasons on "Dance Moms" and quickly become a fan favorite for always standing her ground against coach Abby Lee Miller.
In fact, her fandom became so great, she became more popular than "Dance Moms" itself.
Siwa began to monetize her popularity on YouTube to massive success — she had 12 million subscribers and 3.6 billion views at the channel's peak.
A Nickelodeon and Music Star
In 2016, at just 13 years old, she released her debut video and music single, "Boomerang," which addresses online bullying. To date, it has been viewed 951million times.
Children's network Nickelodeon soon came calling, and Siwa began her career as one of its main stars. Nickelodeon sponsored her 80-city D.R.E.A.M. tour in 2019.
When Siwa was with Nickelodeon, it had over 500 employees working on her brand alone.
Siwa has won several Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, including one for "Favorite Social Music Star," as well as Kids Choice Awards, including "Favorite Viral Music Artist" in 2017 and "Favorite Musical YouTube Creator" in 2018. She toured the world with her D.R.E.A.M. tour in 2022.

Big on Bows and Merch Madness
With her newfound success, Siwa launched a line of merch to solidify her band. She's most well-known for her colorful, big bows, and she released a line of them in collaboration with the fashion retailer, Claire’s. The bows became so popular that they were banned in schools for being a distraction.
Over the years, she's also partnered with designer Betsey Johnson, JCPenney, Target, and Walmart to sell thousand of Siwa brand products, which include everything from sheets to backpacks and a makeup line.
Adventures in Real Estate
In December 2019, Siwa bought a Tarzana, California, mansion for $3.4 million. The Mediterranean-style house is more than 6,000 square feet in size and features marble floors, a curved staircase, a gourmet kitchen and a dining room that seats 10.
Siwa's house is age-appropriate. Her wet bar is now a candy bar with every sweet treat imaginable, and there is plenty of JoJo Siwa memorabilia throughout the home.
The home also features a study, several ensuite bedrooms, and private patios as well as a half-court sports court, a pool, and outdoor kitchen.

Coming Out
In January 2021, Siwa came out as LGBTQ over social media, declaring her love for her girlfriend Kylie Prew saying: "She never cares what the internet said about us. It's nice to have somebody in my life like that." She and Prew have since broken up. She revealed a new person via TikTok, but for now, her love interest remains anonymous.
She says of her coming-out experience: "I knew when I came out that it was going to be a big deal for the world, but I didn't necessarily realize that it was going to be as big as it was. It's crazy because I love that I get to be an example for others. That is probably my favorite thing about what I get to do and being able to just be out and still be who I am, it feels really nice."
Siwa has become an outspoken LGBTQ icon addressing queer issues at her concerts. She also hosted 2022's Can't Cancel Pride for iHeartRadio and was a headliner at the WeHo Pride Parade the same year.
Blazing Her Own Trail Online
JoJo Siwa continues her success playing music and as a social media influencer.
On June 23, 2022, her docuseries, "JoJo Goes," debuted on Facebook Watch. The camera follows Siwa in different adventures, from headlining West Hollywood's Pride parade, taking college courses and participating in baseball, volleyball, and summer camp.
She said of making the series, "I really wanted to go on adventures that I'm not able to go on because of my career of being a public figure. I figured, 'Why not document it?'"
