According to data from the U.S. Census Bureau, Florida has the highest number of fastest-growing metro areas in the country, with 10 of the state’s cities ranking in the top 25. This may be due to the laid-back tropical vibe of Florida, its affluent neighborhoods, diverse cultures and no state taxes (only property taxes). North and South Carolina cities are also highly desirable locations for people looking to put down roots in stable communities.

A sunny community in central Florida, Daytona is home to sandy beaches, emerald waters, unique restaurants, shopping malls, colleges, theaters, antique stores, museums and, of course, the infamous International Speedway. The city’s cost of living is surprisingly low for being a beach destination, most likely due to Florida not requiring a state tax income.
The downtown area also has a fabulous boardwalk and pier that provides plenty of fun for the whole family. Still, the low crime rate is what really attracts young homeowners with children.
