Many people try their hand at modeling and while some models do make it, most aren’t able to parlay that success into something greater or lifelong.

The women featured here are the exception — meet fashion’s richest supermodels.

14. Kendall Jenner (Tie)

Net worth: $60 million

Bottom line: Kendall Jenner is everywhere these days — from runways to the pages of “Vogue” to making appearances on Hulu’s “Kardashians.”

Jenner signed with Wilhelmina Models when she was just 13, and within just a few years, she was walking the runway for couture designers Prada, Chanel and Givenchy, among others.

She has been a brand ambassador for Estée Lauder and is also paid for her partnerships with brands such as Proactiv, Longchamp, Stuart Weitzman, Adidas and Pepsi.

In 2021, Jenner started her own tequila company, 818, which will only add to her fortune.

14. Miranda Kerr (Tie)

Bottom line: Australian model and businesswoman, Miranda Kerr began her career when she was 14 and broke through modeling beachwear in her native country. She moved to New York and started appearing on runways in 2004. By 2007, she became a Victoria’s Secret model and a household name.

Within two years, she started her own skincare line, KORA Organics, and wrote a self-help book, “Treasure Yourself.”

She is married to billionaire Snapchat founder, Evan Spiegel and is a mom to two children.

12. Claudia Schiffer (Tie)

Bottom line: Claudia Schiffer is one of the most iconic models of the 1990s and was discovered dancing in a Dusseldorf club at 17. When she was still a teen, Karl Lagerfeld signed her with Chanel, and she quickly rose up the ranks to supermodel status.

After about a decade of appearing on magazine covers and walking runways worldwide, she retired but has occasionally made appearances with fellow supermodels Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Carla Bruni and Helena Christensen. And she can still be seen in magazines modeling for major brands and designers.

At 52, Schiffer lives a quiet life with her husband and three kids in the British countryside.

Bottom line: The former “wild child” of the 1990s supermodels, Kate Moss was unlike any other model of her era. At 5-foot-7, she was shorter and more waif-like than her peers. After appearing in a Calvin Klein campaign, she became the face of “heroin chic,” which caused great controversy at the time.

Moss has never stopped working — she’s appeared in campaigns for Dior, Burberry, Chanel, Versace, and Dolce and Gabbana, among others ever since.

She also partnered with major brands over the years — she’s created a line of clothing for Topshop, a line of handbags for Longchamp and is part of a jewelry collaboration with Messika.

Bottom line: Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrósio had a 13-year run as a Victoria’s Secret Angel that began in 2004, and she was the first spokesman for the company’s iconic PINK brand.

She’s also modeled in print and on the runway for Dior, Armani, Gucci and Ralph Lauren, among others.

She, too, has partnered with various brands, including Next and Colcci, and has her own fashion and lifestyle brand, Ále by Alessandra.

9. Naomi Campbell (Tie)

Bottom line: Like Kate Moss, her ’90s contemporary, Naomi Campbell never left the runway. She was discovered at 15 and has since appeared on the covers of more than 500 magazines. She has broken racial barriers in the industry, appearing as the first black model on the covers of French and British “Vogue,” and has also been outspoken about the racism she’s encountered in fashion.

Campbell has also acted in films and TV (“Zoolander,” “American Horror Story: Hotel” and “Empire”) and has even recorded an album.

Now in her 50s, Campbell is still in high demand on the catwalk and in print.

9. Tyra Banks (Tie)

Bottom line: Tyra Banks made her debut on the runway at the 1991 Paris Fashion Week and was one of the few black supermodels of the 1990s. She’s walked shows and appeared in campaigns for most major designers, including Chanel, Oscar de la Renta, Dolce & Gabbana, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren and Versace.

Banks was the first black model to appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit issue in 1997.

7. Elle Macpherson (Tie)

Bottom line: Elle Macpherson began modeling to pay for law school, but instead of working in the courtroom, she became one of the most successful models in the world.

Her first modeling job was in a TAB commercial in the early 1980s. Within just three years, she become the face of French skincare company, Biotherm, and has appeared in campaigns for brands like Revlon, Diet Coke, Budweiser and Chrysler.

She’s also a businesswoman. In 1994, she formed Elle Macpherson Inc. through which she released calendars and workout videos. Bottom line: German supermodel Heidi Klum has walked the runway and starred in print campaigns for major designers for decades. She’s also a savvy businesswoman who has a line of clothing that is sold at the German supermarket chain Lidl, and she runs Heidi Klum Intimates.

Klum is also an actress, TV producer and show host. Her most successful stint yet has been as a judge on “America’s Got Talent.”

Bottom line: Somali fashion model Iman came to prominence in the 1970s and has been a muse for various designers over the decades.

She started Iman Cosmetics in 1994 with a focus on difficult-to-find shades of makeup, which has become a $25 million-a-year business.

She and two Somali designers also started a fashion company, Mataano, and in 2021, she released a fragrance, “Love Memoir.” Currently, she has a one-size-fits-all caftan collection, Global Chic, on HSN.

She was married to David Bowie for over 25 years until his death in 2016.

2. Cindy Crawford (Tie)

Bottom line: Everyone is familiar with Cindy Crawford, whether it be through her modeling days — she has over 1,000 magazine covers to her name — or MTV’s long-running ’90s series, “House of Style” that she hosted.

Crawford’s wealth, however, did not come from her modeling career — it is due to the success of her two-decades-old, skincare line, Meaningful Beauty.

Crawford still occasionally models today, and her daughter, Kaia Garber, is also a model.

2. Gisele Bündchen (Tie)

Bottom line: Gisele Bündchen’s net worth is separate from that of her husband, NFL star Tom Brady.

The Brazilian model became one of Victoria’s Secret’s most famous Angels, and she’s worked with countless designers. She has a line of sandals (Impanema) and owns a Brazilian hotel and other exclusive properties around the world.

In 2018, she released a book, “Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life,” which was a New York Times bestseller. All proceeds from the book sales went to support social and environmental causes.

Bottom line: While Kathy Ireland had a decent career as a model in the 1980s and 1990s, she’s made most of her money elsewhere. In 1993, she founded her brand kathy ireland Worldwide (kiWW and, yes, her name is lowercase in the official name).

Through kiWW, her name is attached to over 17,000 products, from ceiling fans to skincare and even cleaning products. She also owns resorts around the world and is a best-selling author.
