Richest Kids in America

It used to be that the richest kids in America were either the children of mega-rich parents or disgruntled childhood actors. But today, thanks largely to social media, normal kids can earn millions of dollars before they can even drive. Blame TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
The children of wealthy parents will inherit their empires, but other young people have become self-made millionaires through entrepreneurship, social media and grit. These are the richest kids in America and how they got there.

Net worth: $500,000
Quvenzhané Wallis got her start at age 5 when she lied to casting directors for a chance to audition for the role of Hushpuppy in “Beasts of the Southern Wild.” (The minimum age was 6, she just turned 5.)
Wallis was cast and went on to become the youngest person to ever be nominated for an Academy Award. Wallis also starred in “12 Years a Slave” and “Annie.”
In her teens, she switched gears and started writing books.
24. Mila and Emma Stauffer (Tie)

Age: 6

Mila and Emma Stauffer’s mom, Katie Stauffer, started posting pictures of the twins when they were just toddlers on Instagram and YouTube.
Their schtick? The daughters discussing adult problems in 2-year-old style. It was an overnight sensation. Adults still flock to both YouTube and Instagram to see the twins. They’ve had a number of sponsorship deals and have even launched their own line of clothing.
24. Jack Bonneau (Tie)

Age: 15

Net worth: $1 million
At 12 years old, Jack Bonneau successfully pitched his idea to “Shark Tank.” The business helps other kids build lemonade stands and secure safe places and permits, making Jack the middleman to every kid’s cash-making scheme.
After successfully launching that company, Jack started Teen Hustl, a collective of teen delivery workers who pick up and drop off Amazon and other mail packages, all using eco-friendly modes of transportation.
24. Marsai Martin (Tie)
